As an animal lover, I enjoyed watching the horses and other farm animals while enjoying my coffee at sunrise.
We will be back, and soon! Deb's farm is fabulously charming! If you are looking for beautiful views, peace and solitude, this is the place for you. We loved it and the pictures can't do the wonders of this magical place justice. FYI, the host will spoil you and treat you far better then you deserve. When I first found Shadows Drifting, it was like my dream location came out of my brain and onto the webpage.īetween the lovely farm animals, the amazing views and not just on the farm, don't be afraid to explore the surrounding countrysidethe charming tiny house, the great hiking and we barely scratched the surface of the available trails and the wonderful host, calling this a hidden treasure is an understatement. We spent weeks online trying to find a small farm to stay on, one with some small farm animals for our little ones and cove-like farm views for the grown- ups. I highly recommend this place to anyone trying to relax and get away from it all! This was a wonderful experience. Deb went above and beyond for us she even let us borrow her Anderson East CD to listen to on the way to the Jack Daniel's Distillery and let us meet all her animals including cats, dogs, horses and a cow. We were pleasantly greeted upon arrival and everything was even better than the photos and description. The sunrise over the field is truly unbelievable. I was only able to stay for 1 night, but can't wait to stay there again and bring the wife. The area and her farm is a unbelievable respite from reality. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!ĭeb's cabin is beautiful. We will be booking again! Thank you Kamilla for the amazing hospitality! All the details have been tended to from the DVD player to the first aid kit and the basic condiments in the fridge! The beds were comfy and my kids loved all the pillows and the little snacks left in the kitchen.
There were so many extra touches that made the stay so much more pleasant with the kids. Extra water bottles in the fridge were a nice touch! So was the sweet orange cat on the property! This place was incredible! My husband and I and our 4 kids stayed the night and were very comfortable. The setup was perfect, bed was comfortable, and the decor was thoughtful. We checked in with two boys and Kamilla thoughtfully provided Legos!!! Full access to wifi and the guest Netflix account, plus a basket full of great movies!
